KLM, the Dutch airline, announced on Tuesday that its flights to several destinations in the Middle East will remain suspended until mid-July. The decision comes as tensions and conflicts persist in the region.

Initially scheduled to resume operations by June 28, flights to Dubai have now been delayed to August 2 at the earliest. Routes to Riyadh and Dammam will stay grounded until at least July 12, according to the airline.

Flights have been canceled since March 1, a decision driven by the ongoing war in Iran and subsequent regional attacks. KLM, part of the Air France-KLM group, aims to ensure passenger safety amid these continued hostilities.
