Morepen Laboratories Sees 22.7% Drop in Quarterly Profit Despite Revenue Growth
Morepen Laboratories posted a 22.7% decline in net profit, amounting to Rs 15.70 crore for the March quarter of FY26, despite a 4.04% increase in revenue. Their expenses totaled Rs 469.89 crore. The company's stock rose slightly by 0.50% to close at Rs 43.96 on the BSE.
Morepen Laboratories experienced a significant decrease in net profit, falling 22.7% to reach Rs 15.70 crore for the fourth quarter of FY26. This represents a drop from Rs 20.31 crore during the same period last year, as per their regulatory filing.
However, the pharmaceutical company's revenue increased by 4.04%, reaching Rs 484.71 crore compared to Rs 465.85 crore in the previous year. The March quarter also saw total expenses amounting to Rs 469.89 crore. On Tuesday, Morepen Laboratories' stock price inched up by 0.50% on the BSE, closing at Rs 43.96 per share.
