Technical Glitch Forces Air India Flight to Return Midway
An Air India flight headed to San Francisco was forced to return to Delhi after a technical issue. Carrying around 230 passengers, the aircraft landed safely. The airline is addressing passenger needs while arranging alternate flights.
An Air India flight set for San Francisco had to turn back to Delhi on Wednesday after a technical malfunction. The Boeing 777-300 ER carried approximately 230 passengers. Sources confirmed the plane was in the air for more than eight hours before returning for safety checks.
While tracking data indicated the aircraft turned back after three hours, when it was traversing Chinese airspace, Air India assured that protocols were followed. The airline expressed regret over the inconvenience and is coordinating new travel arrangements, providing accommodations and necessary assistance to passengers.
