Regaal Resources Sees Profits Surge by 48% Amid Lower Expenses
Regaal Resources, a maize processing company, announced a significant 48% rise in net profits to Rs 16.53 crore during the last quarter of 2025-26 due to reduced expenses. The firm also expanded its production facilities to enhance capacity.
Regaal Resources, a Kolkata-based maize processing company, has reported a substantial 48% increase in net profit for the fourth quarter of the 2025-26 fiscal year, reaching Rs 16.53 crore. This growth is attributed to a decrease in overall expenses.
While total income fell to Rs 24.93 crore for the January-March period, the company's strategic cost management kept expenses down to Rs 222.3 crore, a significant drop from the previous year's Rs 245.38 crore. For the entire fiscal year, the company's net profit grew by 16.57% to Rs 55.56 crore, driven by higher income.
In an effort to enhance production capabilities, Regaal Resources has doubled its maize crushing capacity to 1,650 tonnes per day in Kishanganj, Bihar. The company also initiated operations of a new Liquid Glucose facility, capable of producing 180 tonnes per day, and a Maltodextrin powder unit with a 50 tonnes per day capacity.
