Unitech Ltd, a prominent player in the real estate sector, announced a net loss of Rs 441 crore for the quarter ending March 2026, marking an increase from the Rs 309.95 crore loss recorded in the same period last year.
According to the firm's regulatory filing, total revenue for the fourth quarter increased to Rs 145.31 crore, climbing from Rs 126.34 crore the previous year. However, the company continues to grapple with a substantial net loss of Rs 2,455.73 crore for the fiscal year 2025-26, although this is a slight improvement from the Rs 2,593.47 crore loss the prior year.
Despite improved revenue, Unitech Ltd has been struggling with liquidity issues, leading to project delays, particularly in the Delhi-NCR area. This has left around 22,000 customers awaiting developments. The company's board was restructured by the government in 2020 following a Supreme Court directive.
