The Tamchy Special Financial Investment Territory (Tamchy SFIT) has inaugurated its first business centre along the shores of Kyrgyzstan's Lake Issyk-Kul, marking a pivotal transition from regulatory plans to active operations. The centre now stands ready to welcome its inaugural resident companies, signaling the territory’s readiness for global business.
Spanning 3,850 square metres, the facility offers dynamic spaces including office areas, conference halls, and meeting rooms. Plans are underway to add a restaurant and cafe, making the centre a comprehensive business hub. Ayaz Baetov, Chair of the Tamchy SFIT Management Council, stated that the centre represents a crucial step in establishing trust and connectivity across the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and Africa.
The establishment of Tamchy SFIT was sanctioned under Kyrgyz law, covering approximately 6,000 hectares with a strong emphasis on international business frameworks like English common law. Resident companies benefit from a zero-tax regime for 49 years, full profit repatriation, and an ambitious aim to secure over 3,900 companies and create 10,000 jobs by 2035.
