In a strategic move to enhance its defense capabilities, Bengaluru-based company Globals has announced the appointment of Vinaydath Shivaprasad as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO). The decision underscores Globals' commitment to expanding its footprint in defense technology and exports, aligning with India's Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative.

Shivaprasad, who boasts extensive experience in the aerospace, defense, and telecommunications sectors, previously served as Managing Director of Exostar India. His leadership at Exostar, a U.S. cybersecurity firm, involved managing secure collaboration platforms for industries including aerospace, defense, and government.

As COO, Shivaprasad will oversee strategic operations across Globals' defense, maritime, and national security projects. He will also guide Globals' R&D initiatives to develop indigenous products like Tactical Drone Forensics and the Maritime Cyber Situational Awareness Platform, positioning the company as a pivotal player in India's defense export strategy.
