Hotstar eyes 300 mn viewers from 12th IPL edition

The second largest housing finance company Indiabulls Housing Finance has appointed Satish Chand Mathur, the ex-DGP of Maharashtra, as an independent director. Mathur has held key positions like the Commissioner of Police of Pune, Director General of Anti-Corruption Bureau, Maharashtra and has also served with the CBI, the company said in a statement Friday. Mathur's appointment is for three years, until March 2022. Last August it had also appointed an ex-deputy governor of RBI SS Mundra as an independent director.

************* Hotstar eyes 300 m viewers from IPL Online streaming platform Hotstar is targeting 300 million viewers in the 12 editions of the Indian Premier League from eight languages.

It had 202 million viewers last year who saw the matches. As a global first, Hotstar is offering ad targeting for live sports and advertisers will be able to target 24 different cohorts during the live streaming, it said in a statement Friday.

************* AI Express operates 7 all-women crew flights on Women's Day Air India Express has operated seven all-women crew flights on the international routes to mark the Women's Day on Friday.

These flights were operated from Kochi, Kozhikode, Thiruvananthapuram, Chennai, Mangalore, Mumbai and Delhi to destinations Dubai, Ras-al-Khaimah, Muscat and Singapore, the airline said. Air India Express chief executive K Shyam Sundar felicitated the team that operated the all-women crew flight from Kochi, it said adding the airline also felicitated all its women/girl passengers with flowers on this occasion.

************* Taj partners with global car rental company Sixt The Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) which runs the Taj group of hotels, has partnered with German-headquartered mobility service provider Sixt that will enable Taj InnerCircle loyalty members to earn points across the latter's network companies. Sixt is a global car rental company with over 100 years in business and the largest premium car fleet in the world and has a presence in over 110 countries.
