The European Commission has decided to repeal the antidumping duty on US ethanol imports, which was in place from 5 years, taking effect Wednesday, as reported by S&P Global.
The EUR 62.3 per tonne duty was implemented in February 2013, followed by a 15-month expiry review.
European Commission's move comes amid heightened geopolitical tensions between the EU and US over trade issues.
