Cottonseed oil cake futures gain on spot demand

Cottonseed oil cake prices rose by Rs 3.5 to Rs 2,688 per quintal in futures trade Tuesday, tracking a positive trend at physical markets. On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for June delivery went up by Rs 3.5, or 0.13 per cent, to Rs 2,688 per quintal with an open interest of 67,460 lots. Cottonseed oil cake contracts for July delivery also rose by Rs 4, or 0.15 per cent, to Rs 2,734 per quintal.
