Piramal Realty launches last tower of Mahalaxmi project

Piramal Realty has launched its final tower at flagship project in the city--Piramal Mahalaxmi, which is a Rs 2,600-crore project. With over 2 million sqft of development, the project is designed based on market demand and is set to be one of the largest premium residential developments in south Mumbai and is being jointly developed by Piramal Realty and Omkar Realtors, the company said in a statement.

Poweerloom association seeks Rs 5,000 cr power subsidy The powerloom industry has sought subsidised power from Maharashtra government, saying higher electricity cost has put the industry in deep trouble. The Shree Halari Powerloom Owners and Weavers Association has demanded Rs 5,000 crore in annual power subsidy for them which will reduce the tariff burden by Rs 2 per unit.
