State-run NTPC Saturday said its joint venture firm NSPCL has inked two agreements with Punjab National Bank for Rs 650 crore financing for two projects.

NSPCL, a joint venture of NTPC and SAIL that has its power plants at Durgapur, Rourkela and Bhilai, signed two agreements with Punjab National Bank on June 18, 2019 for part financing of two of its under construction projects at Durgapur (2X20 MW) for Rs 100 crore and Rourkela (1X250) for Rs 550 crore, an NTPC statement said.

The agreements were signed on behalf of the NSPCL by its directors Sudhir Arya CFO, NTPC, and MC Jain ED (Finance ) and Company Secretary, SAIL, and on behalf of PNB by Rohtash Saini.
