Swiggy pays out Rs 31 crore in claim to delivery partners in FY23 * On-demand convenience platform Swiggy on Wednesday said it has facilitated pay out of a total of Rs 31 crore in claim amounts to its delivery partners in 2022-2023.

The company has been providing insurance to its delivery partners since 2015 and has now partnered with Reliance General Insurance to cover health insurance, personal accident and accidental death, and mobile phone damages, Swiggy said in a statement.

Besides insurance, Swiggy said it also provides a comprehensive package of benefits for its delivery partners, including insurance coverage for health, Covid-19, personal accidents, and mobile phones.

Along with hospitalisation and OPD cover, Swiggy delivery partners receive Rs 10 lakh in case of fatalities, with 96 per cent of the claims getting settled within seven days, the company said, adding, it has around 3 lakh delivery partners across over 500 cities in India.

*** Retina Paints gets listed on BSE SME Platform * Asia's oldest stock exchange BSE's platform for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) on Wednesday announced the listing of Retina Paints Ltd, taking the tally of listed companies on the bourse to 434.

Retina Paints Ltd became the 434th company to get listed on the BSE SME platform on May 3, 2023 after successfully completing its public issue on April 24, the exchange said in a release.

The firm is a Hyderabad-registered company, engaged in the manufacturing of decorative paints like distempers, wall care products, primers, emulsions, etc.

BSE launched its SME platform in March 2012.

Arshad Khan from Rabindranath Tagore University, Bhopal was declared winner of the competition, the company said in a release.

''Aeromodelling competition plays a crucial role in the aerospace sector. It brings fresh perspectives, new ideas, and a willingness to challenge conventional thinking. With the aerospace industry constantly evolving, student innovation can be a driving force in the development of new technologies and sustainable solutions,'' Ahmed Elsherbini, Managing Director of Boeing India Engineering & Technology Center, and Chief Engineer of Boeing India, said.
