Rahul Gandhi Slams Government Over NEET and UGC-NET Irregularities

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi launched a scathing attack on the government Thursday over alleged irregularities in the NEET and the cancellation of the UGC-NET exams, asserting that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has 'psychologically collapsed' post-elections and is struggling to run the government efficiently.

At a press conference, Gandhi alleged that educational institutions are being captured by the RSS and the BJP, contributing to rampant paper leaks. 'It was said that Prime Minister Modi stopped the Ukraine-Russia War and the Israel-Gaza conflict, but he either cannot stop exam paper leaks or doesn't want to,' Gandhi remarked.

During his Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, Gandhi claimed thousands complained about paper leaks, likening the situation to the infamous Vyapam scam. He emphasized the need for consistent application of rules across all exams and revealed that the Opposition plans to raise the issue in Parliament. The controversy surrounding NEET has reached the Supreme Court, while the Union education ministry canceled the UGC-NET over integrity concerns, entrusting the CBI with the investigation.
