The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) has categorically denied allegations about a paper leak ahead of its State Service and State Forest Service exams. These rumours, which circulated on social media, have been labeled as baseless and misleading.
In an official statement, MPPSC Secretary Prabal Sipaha reassured the public that the exams are set to take place as scheduled on June 23 at 55 district headquarters. 'Baseless and misleading news is being circulated on social media and other mediums regarding the confidentiality and sanctity of the preliminary round of the State Service Examination 2024 and State Forest Service Examination 2024,' he said. He also warned against the spread of such misinformation, adding that strict actions would be taken against those responsible.
The rumours allegedly originated from a Telegram account claiming to sell the question papers for Rs 2,500 each. Authorities, including the Indore-based regional unit of cyber police, have initiated an investigation with assistance from the Crime Branch. Superintendent of Police Jitendra Singh confirmed the probe and promised appropriate action once investigations are concluded.
