Delhi BJP Urges LG to Reinstate Vocational Trainers

The Delhi BJP, led by Chief Virendraa Sachdeva, met with Lieutenant Governor V K Saxena to request the reinstatement of around 594 terminated part-time vocational trainers and coordinators. The sudden terminations have caused significant hardship, especially for those nearing retirement. Sachdeva assured that efforts will be made to address the issue.

In a significant move, Delhi BJP Chief Virendraa Sachdeva alongside Members of Parliament met with Lieutenant Governor V K Saxena on Saturday. The delegation urged the LG to restore the roles of part-time vocational trainers and coordinators impacted by a recent termination.

The abrupt discontinuation, affecting 594 trainers and coordinators in the Education Department, has led to acute hardships. With many having served for over two decades, the loss of employment has left them in an economic crisis and ineligible for gratuities, Sachdeva stated.

The LG, responding sympathetically, assured the delegation that an immediate report would be sought to address the issue. Sachdeva pledged that the BJP would ensure the protection of jobs and gratuities for the affected trainers and coordinators.
