CBI Grills RIMS Student in NEET-UG Paper Leak Case

This follows the arrest of several individuals, including a civil engineer and MBBS students. The investigation focuses on alleged irregularities in the medical entrance exam.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has initiated an investigation involving a first-year MBBS student from the Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), in connection with the NEET-UG paper leak case. The student, residing in the girls' hostel, was approached early this week for questioning.
RIMS Public Relations Officer Rajiv Ranjan confirmed: 'The CBI is questioning a first-year student. The team contacted the hospital management on Wednesday seeking cooperation, which we fully extended. They questioned her again on Thursday and indicated further interrogation.'
Meanwhile, the CBI arrested four MBBS students from AIIMS Patna and a civil engineer from NIT Jamshedpur, linked to the paper leak. The agency, which has registered six FIRs, continues to probe the alleged irregularities in NEET-UG.
