Authorities are investigating a bomb threat sent via email to PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya, located on the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Indore campus. The threat, received on Friday evening, warned of an attack on Independence Day.

Police have taken the threat seriously, with a complaint filed at Simrol police station on Saturday morning. Deputy Superintendent of Police (Headquarters) Umakant Chowdhry confirmed that the email was purportedly sent from an ID associated with Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).

The email threatened to blow up the school campus on August 15. Simrol police station in-charge Amit Kumar stated their team is actively investigating the matter.
