Over 2,600 students are set to receive their degrees at IIT Delhi's 55th convocation on August 10, announced Director Rangan Banerjee on Thursday. Notably, 25% of these graduates are women.

A significant highlight is the awarding of PhD degrees to more than 475 graduates, a 35% increase from the previous year, with 42% being women.

Jubilant Bhartia Group Founder and Co-Chairman S Bhartia, an esteemed alumnus, will be the chief guest at the event.

Degrees will be awarded across diverse programs, including new UG and PG disciplines. Further, 28 international students will also graduate, and ten distinguished alumni will be honoured with the Alumni Awards 2024.
