Chandigarh University has climbed to the 20th spot in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2024, as announced by the Ministry of Education in New Delhi. This achievement places CU among India's top universities, both private and government.
Established in 2012, Chandigarh University has demonstrated excellence in academics, placements, research, and innovation, elevating its status to be comparable with India's elite educational institutions such as the IITs and IIMs. The university saw significant improvement in various parameters, propelling it from last year's 27th position.
The university's upward trajectory extends across multiple disciplines, including Engineering, Management, Pharmacy, and Architecture and Planning. In Engineering, CU advanced from the 38th to the 32nd position, and in Management, it retained its 36th place. CU's remarkable progress underscores its commitment to providing quality education and maintaining high standards.
