Mysterious Blast in Chhattisgarh School Injures Student

A Class IV student was hospitalized after getting injured in a mysterious explosion in a private school's washroom in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, on Friday.

The explosion, which occurred at 10:15 am in the Mangla area school, has an unclear nature, according to Civil Lines City Superintendent of Police (CSP) Nimitesh Singh.

Upon hearing the blast, teachers interrupted their examination duties to find the injured girl. The school suspects involvement of sodium or similar chemicals from the laboratory; a forensic investigation is underway, and questioning of staff and students is in progress.
