Cracking Down on the Jharkhand Exam Paper Leak Scandal

Police arrested six more individuals in connection with the Jharkhand class 10 exam paper leak, bringing the total number of arrests to ten. Among the arrested is a student-laborer, identified as the main suspect. The exams were canceled after the leaked papers were distributed online, prompting calls for a CBI probe.

The investigation into the Jharkhand class 10 board exam paper leak case intensified as authorities apprehended six more individuals, raising the total number of arrests to ten. According to DGP Anurag Gupta, the main suspect, a student also employed as a laborer, orchestrated the leak.

The arrests were made by Koderma police at Giridih district's Barganda area, following a raid. The Jharkhand Academic Council had previously canceled the exams for Hindi and Science subjects, after discovering the question papers circulated on social media platforms.

DGP Gupta further revealed that the main accused leaked the papers after secretly photocopying them while unloading bundles from a truck. Meanwhile, political tensions rose as the BJP demanded a CBI investigation into the incident.
