ICAI Exams Postponed Amid National Security Concerns
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India has delayed its May 2025 exams due to national security issues. Revised dates for the final, intermediate, and post-qualification exams will be announced later. Approximately 158,044 students are affected by this decision.

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced a postponement of its upcoming examination series, originally scheduled for May 9 to 14, 2025. This decision was made in light of the current security situation affecting the country.
A statement by ICAI highlighted the tense circumstances as the primary reason for rescheduling the exams. Revised dates will be communicated to students in the near future.
The postponement affects a substantial number of students, with 55,666 set to take the final exams and 102,378 registered for the intermediate exams during the affected period.
