Delhi Schools on High Alert: Bomb Threats Shake Education Sector

Bomb threats were emailed to at least three schools in Delhi, causing police and emergency agencies to conduct searches. The threats were received by SKV in Malviya Nagar and Andhra School in Prasad Nagar early in the morning. Similar threats were made to 32 schools two days earlier, all hoaxes.

In a disturbing development, at least three schools in Delhi have been targeted with bomb threats via email, prompting swift action by the police and emergency services on Wednesday. The threats have caused significant concern among parents and school authorities.

According to the Delhi Fire Services, the alarming emails were sent to SKV in Malviya Nagar and Andhra School in Prasad Nagar just minutes apart, at 7:40 am and 7:42 am respectively. Emergency response teams, including police, fire personnel, and bomb disposal units, quickly arrived on the scene to conduct thorough searches of the premises.

This unsettling episode follows a similar incident two days prior, where 32 schools across Delhi received comparable threats, which were later determined to be false alarms. Authorities are working diligently to track down the source of these threats and ensure the safety of students and staff.
