Rajasthan's Textbook Tussle: Tribal History in the Spotlight

Rajasthan Education Minister Madan Dilawar dismissed claims of omitting Mangarh Dham and Veer Kalibai chapters from textbooks as false propaganda by Congress. Asserting that no segment was deleted, he emphasized that the Mangarh Dham topic was enhanced with illustrations for better children's comprehension.

Former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot condemned the BJP-led government, accusing it of erasing tribal contributions. He urged the reinstatement of significant tribal narratives, claiming the BJP harbor a dismissive stance on tribal heritage.

Dilawar, however, defended, showcasing textbook chapters to affirm their retention. He criticized Congress for misleading the public, attributing their actions to dissatisfaction with improved education standards.
