Mizoram Chief Minister Lalduhoma has called on Mizo students to aim higher and compete on a national level with peers from across India. Speaking at an award distribution ceremony in Serchhip, he emphasized the need for youth to develop skills and knowledge crucial for becoming competitive in the job market.

Lalduhoma addressed a significant issue concerning unemployment among educated Mizo youths, attributing it to a skills and knowledge gap. This gap has led to difficulties in filling available job vacancies and tribal quotas.

He assured that while government jobs may seem scarce, ample opportunities exist for those with the necessary qualifications. Lalduhoma urged students to elevate their educational and skill levels, ensuring they are not overlooked in favor of other tribal candidates nationwide.
