Schneider Electric has joined forces with Vellore Institute of Technology to launch a Centre of Excellence dedicated to Smart City and Smart Factory Technologies at VIT's Vellore campus. This strategic initiative is designed to foster innovation, research, and skill development in key emerging domains fundamental to India's digital evolution and sustainability.

In a statement, Schneider Electric emphasized its commitment to developing next-generation talent by providing students with the opportunity to interact with the cutting-edge technologies that are shaping tomorrow's industries. The initial cohort will include 1,100 students, with plans to substantially increase this number over the coming years.
