The District Basic Education Officer, B K Sharma, announced the suspension of Madhu Rai, after City Education Officer Praveen Kumar Dixit's inquiry report substantiated the allegations. The school is located in the Naya Bazar area.

In light of the findings, Rai has been temporarily reassigned to the district headquarters while a departmental inquiry delves deeper into the matter. District authorities are closely monitoring the situation as they proceed with their investigation.
