Police revealed that Dandotia shot himself with a country-made pistol after failing to pass key subjects in his class 12 board examinations, results of which were declared on Wednesday.

The disheartened student had failed in Physics, Chemistry, and Maths, and his body was discovered at the Kotwal Dam shortly after locals alerted the law enforcement authorities.
