Pradyot Kishore Manikya Debbarma, the founder of the Tipra Motha Party, has pledged to bring about sweeping changes in the education infrastructure within the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) regions. Despite winning 24 out of 28 seats in the recent tribal council elections, Debbarma remains committed to addressing educational deficiencies.

The northeastern state's education department revealed that as of September 2025, 340 schools operated by a single teacher fall under the TTAADC jurisdiction. Debbarma, via a Facebook post, highlighted the need for overhaul after witnessing tribal students attending poorly equipped schools. He assured the creation of a draft education policy aimed at enhancing educational quality for tribal pupils.

Additionally, the TMP-led council plans to establish a UPSC and civil services coaching center and a modern sports facility at Khumulwng, the headquarters of TTAADC. Debbarma also promised a transparent recruitment process, ensuring fair opportunities for job aspirants with mandatory advertisement and interviews in local media.
