IIM Ranchi has made its mark in the QS Executive MBA rankings 2026, securing the 4th spot among competing Indian Institutes of Management. This major achievement was announced by IIM Ranchi Director Deepak Kumar Srivastava on Thursday.

The institute has been placed in the 201-plus global band and achieved 33rd position in the Asia-Pacific region. According to the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), a renowned higher education analytics firm from London, this ranking evaluates institutions based on five parameters: employer reputation, thought leadership/academic reputation, career outcomes, executive profiles, and diversity.

IIM Ranchi showcased a well-rounded performance across these indicators, standing out in career outcomes, particularly salary growth and promotions, and maintaining a robust executive profile, reflecting its participants' work and managerial experience. Director Srivastava emphasized that this milestone represents a pivotal moment in the institute's journey toward global recognition and academic excellence.
