On Thursday, Haryana Governor Ashim Kumar Ghosh called on educational institutions to adapt their curricula to better meet the demands of industry and emerging technologies. Speaking at an event organized by the State Support Mission and the Swarna Jayanti Haryana Institute for Fiscal Management in Panchkula, Ghosh stressed the importance of cultivating a new generation of innovators and entrepreneurs capable of driving Haryana's transformation.
Among the key topics discussed was the 'Samarth Haryana' initiative, which aims to turn aspirations into achievements through innovation, collaboration, and effective governance. The governor highlighted that real progress necessitates integrated efforts across various sectors including policy, technology, education, and industry to establish a 'Samarth Haryana' that is a knowledge and innovation hub.
During the event, the National Education Evaluation and Validation Portal was demonstrated, showcasing its role in monitoring the implementation of the National Education Policy 2020. This platform is designed to enhance governance in the education sector through real-time data collection and analytics. Earlier, SJHIFM's Director General, Raj Nehru, highlighted the institute's impact in driving inclusive development by merging industry, academia, and heritage preservation through technology.
