During the 11th Professor Sarat Mahanta Memorial Lecture, eminent academician C Raj Kumar highlighted the transformative journey of India as it nears its centenary of independence. Prof Kumar, Vice Chancellor of O.P. Jindal Global University, emphasized the evolution of India from its strong civilisational roots to a modern democratic republic.
Kumar noted the significant influence of India's ancient knowledge systems and the ethical frameworks of dharma on the country's identity. He advocated for harmonizing innovation with inclusion and sustainability as India gears up to emerge as a global leader by 2047.
