Arunachal Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein inaugurated crucial road and bridge projects on Saturday, part of the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY-III), in the Lohit district.
He described the rural connectivity initiative as pivotal for economic transformation. Since PMGSY's inception, access and mobility in the state's remote regions have seen substantial improvement. Mein noted the state's infrastructure has evolved with modern engineering practices and stringent quality control.
The initiative has already sparked positive change, including reverse migration and agricultural expansion. In a broader vision, Mein articulated a future where connectivity, power infrastructure, and economic progress align, especially with major investments in hydropower set to accelerate the state's growth trajectory.
