IIFT Expands Global Footprint with New Alumni Chapters
The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), under the commerce ministry, has launched alumni chapters in Canada and the UAE to enhance student placements, mentorship, and industry engagement. It also initiated internationalization in higher education and unveiled 'Pitch Perfect: Australia-India Case Study Compendium' to support free trade agreements.
The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), under the aegis of the commerce ministry, has bolstered its international presence by establishing alumni chapters in Canada and the UAE. These chapters aim to enhance student placements, offer mentorship, and foster industry engagement.
IIFT's alumni network has experienced significant global expansion, with the Canada Alumni Chapter now contributing to the institute's largest overseas alumni hub in the US-Canada region. This development will aid in international student placements and broader outreach efforts.
In addition to these expansions, IIFT has introduced initiatives aimed at internationalizing higher education. The launch of the 'Pitch Perfect: Australia-India Case Study Compendium,' in collaboration with Newland Global Group, marks a strategic effort to support India's goals in free trade agreements.
