The Maharashtra government has announced the approval of a new curriculum framework for Class 6. This will be implemented starting in June, as per the state's School Education Minister, Dadaji Bhuse. The decision, made during a meeting chaired by Bhuse, aligns with recent revisions for Classes 2, 3, and 4.

In accordance with the National Education Policy, this curriculum framework is designed by carefully defining difficulty levels and placing an emphasis on learning outcomes. Bhuse mentioned that textbooks, prepared by 'Balbharati', will be ready before the academic session begins after receiving clearance from the curriculum coordination committee.
