Neurosurgeon V S Mehta to receive AIIMS lifetime achievement award on May 12

Delhi-NCR-based neurosurgeon and Padma Shri awardee Dr V S Mehta has been selected for the Lifetime Achievement Award by the AIIMS, according to an official letter issued by the institute. Dr Mehta is a former head of the Department of Neurosurgery and former chief of the Neurosciences Centre at AIIMS.

Delhi-NCR-based neurosurgeon and Padma Shri awardee Dr V S Mehta has been selected for the 'Lifetime Achievement Award' by the AIIMS, according to an official letter issued by the institute. The award will be presented at the 51st annual convocation of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), to be held at Bharat Mandapam on May 12. Vice President C P Radhakrishnan is slated to attend the ceremony as the chief guest, the letter read. Dr Mehta is a former head of the Department of Neurosurgery and former chief of the Neurosciences Centre at AIIMS. He is currently serving as chairman emeritus, Neurosciences, at Paras Hospital, Gurugram.
