Controversy Erupts Over NEET-UG Exam Cancellation: Opposition Slams Government

The National Testing Agency ended up scrapping the NEET (UG) 2026 exam, which had been held on May 3, due to allegations of a paper leak. As a response, the government has engaged the CBI to conduct an in-depth investigation into these irregularities.

Reacting to this suspension, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi's administration of undermining the hard work and dreams of millions of students. Meanwhile, other opposition members have heightened calls for accountability from those in charge.
