Government schools in Delhi achieved a 94.44% pass rate in the CBSE Class 12 exams, surpassing private schools. Girls outperformed boys with a 96.10% pass rate. Government schools in the national capital have outperformed their private counterparts in this year's CBSE Class 12 examinations, achieving an impressive overall pass percentage of 94.44%, compared to the 88.77% recorded by private schools, according to data released on Wednesday.

The performance of girls stood out significantly, with a 96.10% pass rate in government schools, compared to boys at 92.49%. Private school results showed a similar trend, with girls achieving 91.43% and boys at 86.79%, as per the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) results.

Delhi recorded a total pass percentage of 92.10%, with girls outperforming boys by 6.73 percentage points. Key highlights included Teghnoor Singh of DPS Dwarka scoring 99.4% in Commerce and other outstanding performances by students from prominent schools like DPS Vasant Kunj and ITL International School, Dwarka across various streams.
