A scandal has engulfed the University of Lucknow as it investigates allegations against a teacher accused of having an improper conversation with a female student and leaking exam papers. The accusations emerged following the release of viral audio clips allegedly featuring the teacher's voice.
The university, adhering to its 'zero tolerance' policy, swiftly responded with an inquiry, directing an internal committee to report their findings within 24 hours. An FIR has also been lodged against the teacher. Vice Chancellor J P Saini stated the university's dedication to preserving its dignity and academic integrity.
The accused teacher, Paramjeet Singh, an assistant professor, refuted the allegations, attributing the claims to university and student politics. Meanwhile, the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad demanded immediate action against him, urging authorities to invoke strong measures to tackle the issues raised.
