Chaos erupted at Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya's IET in Indore as final-year engineering students wreaked havoc during an alleged liquor party at Ramanujan Hostel. Videos of the incident have surfaced, showcasing the students' unruly behavior and property damage.
One of the videos shows semi-nude students dancing to a Punjabi song, while other clips depict them vandalizing plastic tables, chairs, and a water tank. Broken glass panes from hostel windows further highlight the extent of the chaos.
In response, IET Director Dr. Pratosh Bansal announced that a disciplinary committee would probe the matter. The university plans to withhold the examination results of those involved, impose heavy fines, and notify parents and employers about the incident.
