Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Thursday flagged off 'Kamayabi Van' in Koriya district as part of efforts to strengthen digital education infrastructure in remote and rural areas of the state, a government official said.
It was launched during a 'chaupal' organised at Kushha village in Sonhat development block under the 'Sushasan Tihar' campaign, he added.
The project, implemented under the NITI Aayog-funded 'Mission Kamayabi', aims to provide technology-enabled learning opportunities to students in remote regions through modern digital tools, the official said.
The 'Kamayabi Van' is equipped with Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) technologies to deliver interactive and experiential learning in subjects such as science, mathematics and technical education, he added.
''The state government is committed to ensuring equal access to quality education and modern technology for children in villages and remote areas. In today's era of knowledge and innovation, it is essential to connect rural students with digital resources and modern learning methods to prepare them for future challenges,'' CM Sai said on occasion.
The programme would help bridge the gap between rural and urban education by making modern learning tools accessible in interior regions, Sai said.
