Rahul Gandhi has raised serious concerns over alleged irregularities in the CBSE examination results, calling for an independent judicial probe. He criticized the government's decision to award the exam contract to COEMPT, highlighting past controversies involving the company when it operated as Globarena.
Gandhi questioned the transparency of the process and demanded to know why background checks were seemingly overlooked. He insisted on forming a Special Investigation Team to delve into the matter and address the potential impact on nearly 1.85 million students. The Congress leader emphasized the need to expose any governmental wrongdoing and ensure accountability.
The Congress party echoed Gandhi's demands, criticizing the Education Minister, Dharmendra Pradhan, and urging his resignation. This comes as some students claimed discrepancies between their actual answers and the uploaded scanned copies in the On-Screen Marking system.
Despite the controversy, CBSE sources maintain that they are prioritizing the handling of complaints. The opposition party remains steadfast in its resolve to uncover the facts and ensure justice for the affected students.
