Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan responded to allegations made by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi regarding purported irregularities in the CBSE examination system, dismissing them as unfounded. Pradhan criticized Gandhi's opposition to India's technological advancements, attributing it to his political frustrations.
Gandhi had called for an independent probe and the formation of a Special Investigation Team, citing major discrepancies in CBSE examination results. He pointed to a company involved in the digital evaluation, previously implicated in issues in Telangana. Pradhan assured that the CBSE complies with government procurement policies and vowed action if any misconduct is uncovered.
Pradhan urged that examination-related issues should remain apolitical, emphasizing the importance of minimizing students' stress. The CBSE endorsed the reliability of its digital infrastructure against the backdrop of student complaints about scoring anomalies and potential answer sheet mismatches.
