Leaders from Shiv Sena (UBT) have voiced strong criticism against the central government concerning alleged irregularities in the handling of NEET and CBSE examinations. Highlighting inefficiencies within the current system, the party has called for reforms and accountability from the Union Education Ministry.
In statements posted on X, Aaditya Thackeray and Sanjay Raut specifically targeted the alleged lapses, urging for strict measures against those responsible. They condemned the potential use of Indian Air Force resources to transport NEET exam papers, seeing it as a mismanagement of governmental duties. Thackeray and Raut have demanded urgent reforms to restore credibility in the education system, emphasizing the need for accountability and transparency.
Additionally, the government is examining the possibility of using the Air Force to maintain the integrity of the NEET retest logistics, following a contentious decision discussion in a high-level meeting. The Sena (UBT) insists on systemic corrections rather than temporary fixes to address the root of these concerns.
