IUJ Journal of Management released at ICFAI University

IUJ Journal of Management, June 2019 issue was released on the occasion of inauguration of the 9th batch of PhD Program in Management (Part-Time) for working professionals at ICFAI University, Jharkhand. The best paper award for this issue was given to D. D. Chowdhury of ICFAI University, Tripura for this thought-provoking article on 'multi-dimensional' analysis of poverty in Tripura.

According to the university officials, the 40 per cent of students in the PhD program are women. Besides, the students from throughout the country including Jammu & Kashmir and Sikkim have enrolled in the program. These students are working in reputed organisations like PWC, RBI, SBI, WIPRO, Indian army, Food Corporation of India, CSIR Labs, Osam Milk, Amity University, St Xavier's College, and ICFAI University Sikkim.

Welcoming the students, Prof O. R. S. Rao, Vice-Chancellor of the University said, "We are happy that our University continues to attract excellent profiles of working professionals with passion and commitment to the PhD Program. Our experience with the earlier batches has shown that the working professionals are keen to do research on topics of relevance to industry and society".

Dr Hari Haran, former General Manager, SAIL-MTI, Dr S Kishore. former ED, Indian Institute of Coal Management and Dr BK Jha, HOD, Department of Agricultural Extension, BAU also addressed the gathering.
