I don’t want to hear Atif’s version of “Chalte Chalte”: Lata Mangeshkar

For those who revere Lata Mangeshkars "Chalte chalte yuhi koi mil gaya tha", the mellow 'mujra' melody from the Meena Kumaris song in "Pakeezah", the new version of the song by Pakistan singer Atif Aslam for a Bollywood film titled "Mitron", is a shocker.

Atif Aslam also sang "Dekhte Dekhte" for Shahid Kapoor starrer " Batti Gul Meter Chalu". The melodious song is a rendition of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan's qawaali by the same name.
