Will You Season 5 Be the Last Season?

According to Penn Badgley, who plays Joe Goldberg in the series, You Season 5 may well be the final installment. In an interview on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, Badgley suggested that if there is another season, it would only be one. He went on to say that everyone involved in the show wants to avoid it becoming tired and losing its intelligence.

In a more recent interview with IndieWire, Badgley reaffirmed that there will be a Season 5, but whether or not it's the last season remains to be seen.

"It feels to me like we need to do another season. It feels to me like Joe needs to get what's coming to him, and now he has further to fall because he has all this power and wealth." He then added, "We always wanted to be responsible and it's not just the kind of thing we can let keep going because it's doing well."
