Samsung partners with Warner Bros. to bring popular movie trailers to Neo QLED 8K screens
Samsung Electronics has announced a partnership with Warner Bros. Pictures to bring popular movie trailers to its Neo QLED 8K screens in over 65,000 retail stores worldwide.
The duo conducted a successful trial of their collaboration by showcasing the "Creed III" trailer in more than 450 retail stores across the United States and Europe earlier this year. Buoyed by the trial's success and the overwhelming response, Samsung and Warner Bros. have decided to expand the program.
This expanded partnership will bring an appealing lineup of high-profile content, including trailers for upcoming films such as Barbie, Blue Beetle, Dune: Part Two, Wonka and Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom to Samsung Neo QLED 8K screens.
"This partnership is an exciting step forward for 8K content, showcasing Neo QLED 8K’s capabilities and getting consumers excited about seeing films in cinematic quality,” said Cheolgi Kim, Executive Vice President of the Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics. Collaborating with Warner Bros. allows Samsung to show consumers how ultra-premium TV technology can take their favourite films to a whole new level.”
