The highly anticipated 2023 Asia Contents Awards & Global OTT Awards unfolded on the glittering evening of October 8th, within the spectacular confines of the Busan Cinema Center. These prestigious awards, an integral part of the Busan International Film Festival, seek to honor and applaud the most exceptional television shows, streaming content, and web series originating from Asia. This year's event was jointly orchestrated by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Busan Metropolitan City. Notably, it came with an exciting twist - the introduction of five fresh award categories, bringing the total count to an impressive 17 accolades.

In a resounding triumph, Disney Plus's spellbinding superhero series, "Moving," emerged as the undisputed star of the night, clinching an impressive six awards. Among its well-deserved honors were the coveted Best Creative and Best Writer awards, both bestowed upon the talented Kang Full. The show further solidified its dominance with wins in the categories of Best Visual Effects, Best Lead Actor, claimed by the remarkable Ryu Seung Ryong, Best Newcomer Actor, secured by the promising Lee Jung Ha, and Best Newcomer Actress, a well-deserved accolade for the rising talent Go Youn Jung.

The Best OTT Original category saw "Weak Hero Class 1" from Wavve rise to the pinnacle of recognition, while "Festival in Vietnam" and "Physical: 100" emerged victorious in the fiercely competitive Best Reality and Variety category.

Notably, Lim Ji Yeon, renowned for her compelling performance in "The Glory," was honored with the Female Supporting Actor Award, while the charismatic Wen Junhui, a prominent member of the boy group Seventeen, was celebrated with the Popularity Award for his versatile contributions to "Exclusive Fairy Tale."

Innovation in streaming content was duly acknowledged through the Innovation Award, shared by the romantic reality show "EXchange 2" and the gripping drama series "One Day Off."
